VIAJANDO CON MASCOTAS
Si traes mascotas a Panamá, asegúrate de seguir los siguientes pasos:
I. REQUISITOS PARA LA ENTRADA DE PEQUEÑAS MASCOTAS A PANAMA:
1. A su llegada al aeropuerto de Tocumen, se le solicitará un Certificado de buena salud de exportación para animales pequeños emitido por la autoridad sanitaria del país de origen. Dentro de los Estados Unidos, podrá obtener este Certificado de Buena Salud en el Departamento de Agricultura de EE. UU. (EE. UU.)
2. Esta forma tiene que ser certificada por un oficial U.S.D.A. Veterinario y el veterinario de la mascota. Este certificado se puede encontrar en Pet Travel en los EE. UU. Página web o en el siguiente enlace: "https://www.aphis.usda.gov/aphis/pet-travel/by-country/pettravel-panama"
3. Después de obtener el certificado con las dos firmas, debe traerlo al Consulado para su autenticación.
En caso de no poder venir personalmente, envíe los documentos en sobre prepagado a nuestra dirección:

4. La tarifa consular es de $ 30.00 por documento, pagadero por giro postal (Money Order) a nombre del Consulado de Panamá.
5. Debe incluir un sobre pre pagado con la dirección de correo para la devolución de los documentos (En caso de que no pueda venir personalmente).
NOTA: asegúrese de consultar con su aerolínea para obtener más información sobre las pautas de la aerolínea cuando viaja con mascotas. Tenga en cuenta que las aerolíneas requieren un U.S.D.A. Certifícate válido por al menos 10 días desde el día de su emisión.
II. PROCEDIMIENTOS DEL PAPEL PARA LA CUARENTENA DEL HOGAR DADA A LA LLEGADA A PANAMÁ
1. Complete el formulario "Solicitud de cuarentena domiciliaria"
2. A su llegada al Aeropuerto de Tocumen, todos los documentos mencionados anteriormente deben ser entregados al Médico Veterinario del Departamento de Control de Zoonosis, quien verificará el mismo.
3. Si el propietario cumple con todos los requisitos, los animales serán devueltos a su dueño. Si los requisitos no se cumplen, la mascota será enviada de regreso al país de origen utilizando la misma aerolínea en la que llegó la mascota.
4. La tarifa para la Cuarentena del Hogar es de B / .130.00ºº por animal pagado solo en efectivo en el Aeropuerto de Tocumen.
NOTA: envíe por fax el formulario "Solicitud de cuarentena domiciliaria" al (507) 238-3855 / (507) 238-4059 o envíela por correo electrónico a cam@minsa.gob.pa. Este formulario debe enviarse a las autoridades del Ministerio de Salud tres (03) días antes de su llegada a Panamá.
Tome nota de las siguientes horas de trabajo del ministerio en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen en Panamá:
o De lunes a viernes de 8:00 a.m. a 11:00 p.m.
o Las oficinas están cerradas los fines de semana y días festivos.

TRAVELING WITH PETS
If you bring pets to Panama, be sure to follow these steps:
I. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ENTRY OF SMALL PETS TO PANAMA:
1. Upon arrival at Tocumen airport, you will be asked for a Certificate of Good Health for Small Animals Export issued by the health authority of the country of origin. Within the United States, you can obtain this Certificate of Good Health from the US Department of Agriculture (USA)
2. This form must be certified by an official U.S.D.A. Vet and vet mascot. This certificate can be found on Pet Travel on the US website or at the following link: "https://www.aphis.usda.gov/aphis/pet-travel/by-country/pettravel-panama"
3. After obtaining the certificate with the two signatures, send it to a Panamanian Consulate for authentication.

NOTE: Be sure to check with your airline for more information on the airline's guidelines when traveling with pets. Please note that airlines require a U.S.D.A. Certify yourself valid for at least 10 days from the day of issue.
II. PAPER PROCEDURES FOR THE HOUSEHOLD QUARANTINE GIVEN ON ARRIVAL IN PANAMA
1. Complete the form "Request for home quarantine"
2. Upon arrival at Tocumen Airport, all the documents mentioned above must be delivered to the Veterinary Doctor of the Zoonosis Control Department, who will verify it.
3. If the owner meets all the requirements, the animals will be returned to their owner. If the requirements are not met, the pet will be sent back to the country of origin using the same airline that the pet arrived at.
4. The rate for Household Quarantine is $130.00ºº per animal paid only in cash at Tocumen Airport.
NOTE: Fax the "Home Quarantine Request" form to (507) 238-3855 / (507) 238-4059 or email it to cam@minsa.gob.pa. This form must be sent to the authorities of the Ministry of Health three (03) days before your arrival in Panama.
Take note of the following working hours of the ministry at the Tocumen International Airport in Panama:
o Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. at 11:00 p.m.
o Offices are closed on weekends and holidays.
